Finalists Selected for the 2nd Annual American SESAMES Awards

Winners for “Emerging Payments,” “Card Manufacturing” and “Identification” to be Announced on May 5, 2015 during the Awards Ceremony

Atlanta, GA, April 24, 2015 – Comexposium, organizers of the global CARTES SECURE CONNEXIONS events, announced today the finalists for the second annual American SESAMES Awards.  The winners will be announced on May 5th at CARTES SECURE CONNEXIONS AMERICA in Washington, DC.

The awards, based on the 20 year heritage of the SESAMES Awards held each year at CARTES SECURE CONNEXIONS in France, recognize technology innovation for smart cards, digital security, identification, secure transactions and contactless technology developed for the U.S. market.

Winners of the American SESAMES Awards will be selected by a judging panel including Michelle Evans, Senior Analyst, Euromonitor International; Nathan Hilt, Director, PriceWaterhouseCoopers; Tony Laquet, Director, Head of Global Platforms, Bank of America Merrill Lynch; Al Pascual, Director - Fraud & Security, Javelin Strategy & Research; and David Robertson, Publisher, The Nilson Report.

The 2nd Annual American SESAMES Awards Ceremony will take place from 5:00pm – 5:30pm on Tuesday, May 5th at the Walter E. Convention Center followed by a networking reception from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The ceremony and reception are open to all attendees and exhibitors.

CARTES SECURE CONNEXIONS AMERICA 2015 attendees can choose from a one or three day full conference pass (with full access to all presentations, keynotes, the exhibition, lunch and special receptions including the American SESAMES Awards), or an exhibit hall only pass (with access to keynote presentations, the exhibition and special receptions including the American SESAMES Awards).  Accredited members of the media are invited to register for free and can email the CARTES media contact for registration details.
